Silwer was founded on a single observation — that everyone over 45 was being sold either medical-looking footwear or fashion that hurt. We didn't like that and knew there had to be a better way.

Our Story

Why

An entire generation, overlooked.

India has 140 million people over the age of 50. Yet, when the market turns to face them, it's usually to sell pills or insurance. In footwear, they are offered two choices—hospital aesthetics or in-trend options designed for twenty-year-old bodies.

Silwer exists to close that gap. Not with a softer slipper, but with footwear that takes aging seriously and respects the person inside it.

What

India's first footwear for the seasoned.

From around 40, feet begin to change in ways that are completely normal but almost completely ignored. The arch settles, the foot widens, and cushioning thins. These aren't failings—they're facts, and they are the starting point for everything we design.

We make shoes for the people we know—running businesses, raising grandchildren—never asking them to compromise on comfort, form, or how far they go.

We immersed ourselves in research, consulted top podiatrists and physiotherapists until the science became the brief. We built, rebuilt, and sampled rigorously, ensuring every feature is tested by the people it’s meant for—not a 25-year-old model.
